By cori • Sep 24th, 2010 • Category: WelcomeHave you always wanted to write about your experiences as a mother, but never had the time or energy? Here’s your chance. The Momoir Project offers online writing classes for mothers of all ages and stages. Whether you’re a beginning writer or a published author, these classes will inspire you and connect you to a growing community of moms around the world. In supportive and intimate groups, you will share your stories, learn to write – for yourself, your children, your blog or to get published. You will laugh and cry and discover new things about yourself in a way that is gratifying and deeply transformative.
Recording your experiences is actually easier than you may think. The Momoir Project makes writing your stories fun, rewarding, and practical. We know it's hard it is to find the time to write when you're balancing kids, husbands, school, work, your house and yourself. But these writing classes are designed with the busy mom in mind. Classes are held just once every two weeks. Writing and reading assignments are small and manageable. And when you're done, you'll have six short stories, one long story and many new insights.
Recording your memories and preserving them so you and your children will remember is what The Momoir Project is all about. Get ready to share the highs and lows of motherhood, critique each other's work, make valuable friendships and contacts, and learn to write a blog, or sell your stories to magazines, newspapers, agents and online publications.
Please click here for more information on online classes. A new e-workbook is now available for those who want to do the class on their own time, at their own pace.
