Memoir Writing Workshops – Online and Elsewhere
Writing Retreat on Saltspring Island
For Momoir students who want to connect in person with other students, here's a great chance to get together and write.
Join me on Saltspring Island for a one-night writing workshop on Saturday, April 28. The writing workshop will run from 7 to 10 pm at Cafe Talia. Saltspring Island is a beautiful island off the coast of Vancouver and there are many great places to stay and to write during the day. There will be coordinated events during the day for Momoir students - hikes and dinners. But mostly, the time if yours to write before the workshop on Saturday night where you will be asked to present some of your work, to read aloud and get feedback.

For Writers New to the Momoir Project:
There will be a writing workshop on Friday, April 27 at Cafe Talia on Saltspring Island, from 7 to 10 pm. This one night workshop will get you writing and inspired. Record your memories of motherhood – before you forget. Share your stories. Learn to write – for yourself, your children, your blog or for publication. Laugh. Cry. Discover yourself.

WRITE YOUR BIRTH STORY
Join us every month for a special, one-day workshop on writing your birth story. This workshop will help you get your birth story down in a way that you want to remember it. Join a group of other mothers, share your stories and record your own birth experience. Prior to the workshop, you will be sent some inspiring reading – essays written by great writers on the topic of birth. These essays will inspire you and will form part of the discussion during the workshop. Workshops are available online and sometimes in various cities. Please email cori@themomoirproject.com if you don't see your city below and you'd like to attend a workshop.
